Founded and run by the owners of Openbook Home Loans, Awwdoptable is a Dallas-based animal rescue rooted in compassion, responsibility, and service to the local community. What began as helping individual animals in need has grown into a sustained mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs and cats throughout Dallas and the surrounding areas.
This work is personal. Animals arrive frightened, injured, abandoned, or overlooked. Many require immediate medical attention, patience, and consistent care before they are ready to trust again. Through foster homes, veterinary partnerships, and tireless volunteer coordination, Awwdoptable ensures each animal receives not only safety, but dignity and hope.
Every rescue represents a life interrupted and then restored.
Every adoption represents a family made whole.
Awwdoptable works closely with local shelters, veterinarians, and community members to reduce euthanasia rates and give animals the time and care they deserve. Animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, medically treated, and thoughtfully matched with adopters who are ready to commit for life.
For Lee and Blair, this mission is inseparable from how they live and work in Dallas. Their belief is simple: being part of a community means giving back to it. Awwdoptable reflects the same values that guide Open Book Home Loans: integrity, responsibility, and care for people and families, extended to the most vulnerable lives around us.
